Community Service
As a member of the Albuquerque community, Mark is dedicated to making his community a better place to live. Some of the community initiatives Casa dealerships take part in are:

-    The Christina Kent Early Childhood Center, whose mission it is to provide low wage, single income parents with a safe environment that provides an accredited learning program, and provides meals and snacks all priced at what the parent can afford to pay.

-    We are a sponsor of Special Olympics New Mexico which provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic type events for special needs children. Read more about: Special Olympics New Mexico

-    At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico, our mission is to enable young people - especially those who need it the most - to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Our organization serves over 2,300 children, ages 5 to 18, and provides a safe and inspiring place for kids to be during out-of-school hours. By equipping children with a safe environment and introducing them to better educational and lifestyle choices, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico helps put children on a path to Great Futures. "KLVO and Mark Mitsubishi Partners with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®

KLVO to host radio event (2/7-2/8)

Albuquerque NM (1/17/19) -- The community in Albuquerque will have the chance to help change the lives of children fighting cancer by supporting the annual radio event, Promesa y Esperanza® (Promise and Hope) 2/7-2/8  hosted by KLVO - Radio Lobo 97.3, and Presented by Mark Mitsubishi  in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

During the radio event, listeners will have the opportunity to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude by calling 1-800-998-8432, or visiting stjude.org/radio/klvo, to become Ángeles de Esperanza (Angels of Hope) by donating just $20 a month. During the two-day event, radio listeners will hear heartwarming stories of families and patients who are being treated at St. Jude. Patients like Austin, a senior at La Cueva High School. Diagnosed with a rare spinal cord tumor at just 2 years old, Austin was treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where he underwent surgery to remove the tumor and radiation therapy. Austin finished treatment in 2007 but continues to visit St. Jude for yearly checkups. Because of the effects of treatment, Austin uses a wheelchair or crutches to get around, but nothing slows him down.

Because of supporters like Radio Lobo, Mark Mitsubishi, and Ángeles de Esperanza, families like Austin's never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

For more information about Promesa y Esperanza or to make a donation, visit stjude.org/radio/klvo or call 1-800-998-8432
