    Nice body, the issue is 2011 SRX has POOR headlighting. The recall expired in 2015, so anyone buying this vehicle after 2015, you have to spend $1600 to have the proper headlamps installed. In my opinion, Cadillac should do right by all owners.

    I loved this SUV until my touch screen went out. I started looking online and realized this is a common issue and probably should be a recall. Maybe it is why Cadillac changed the name of the car. I called to get a price to get it fixed and the mechanic said he wasn't surprised and he could quote me a price without even looking it up because it was so common. Beware....there is a good chance you will have problems with the touch screen.

    I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this vehicle. I knew there had been some issues with the CUE system as well as electrical issues. When I went to look at the vehicle, I raised those concerns with the salesperson. I was told the CUE system had just been replaced & that if I experienced any electrical issues, the dealer would work with me to have any problems resolved. I test drove it during the day & decided to purchase it. I worked my evening shift a couple days later. Driving home that night, I realized the headlights were so incredibly dim I could barely see the road. I brought the issue to the dealer’s attention the following morning. They were responsive & said they would see what could be done. The next day, I worked a double shift. It was dark out & pouring down rain on my way in at 0530 that morning. The headlights were so bad, I couldn’t see 2 feet in front of me. I was forced to drive with the high beams on the entire 30 minute commute to avoid wrecking. Of course that poses a safety risk to on coming traffic. I decided to return the vehicle & fortunately the dealer has been understanding thus far. I’m currently in the drawn out return process. In all of my research, I didn’t see anything mentioned about the headlights. As soon as I googled the topic specifically, I found numerous articles about lawsuits being filed due to the dim headlights. It is a serious safety concern & I strongly feel that GM should issue a recall. On another note, in the few days that I drove this vehicle, I had the CUE system screen & dash lights black out momentarily & felt the vehicle lose power. Also, the CUE system screen started to pixelate on the side. For the purchase price, I would expect WAY better. Growing up, Cadillac was the only vehicle my Grandfather would drive. Apparently they don’t make them like they used to.
